Biography

Dimitar Kovachev has almost 20 years of experience in the IT industry, currently holding the role of Regional Delivery Lead at DXC Technology. As most of the people in the industry, Dimitar started his career as System Administrator managing networks, servers, and infrastructure. Afterward he was introduced to Information Security for a global company in the financial industry. Further on, Dimitar continued his career development in the IT Service Delivery Management domain, where he was responsible for variety of IT services delivered to global Fortune 500 companies. Currently Dimitar is leading a team of IT Service Delivery Managers working for large enterprise clients across EMEA.

Dimitar is described as energetic and passioned leader and is known for his wealth on knowledge and know-how in the information security, infrastructure technology outsourcing, public and private cloud, modern workplace services and many other domains. Dimitar has established very strong business and financial acumen over the years and has proven track record of growing the business through upselling and cross selling.

Over the years Dimitar have obtained several industry certificates - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) with Security, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) Auditor/Lead Auditor and others.
